"We had a great experience with Mastertex. They repaired our A/C drain under the house including excavation, and the whole process was handled professionally. The plumbers (Connor, Clint, Austin, and the excavation team) who came out were knowledgeable, courteous, and took time to answer all of our questions. They were very helpful, and we really appreciated their patience. The repair was completed well, and we’d recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services. Thank you for a job well done."
"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unfortunately, I now know WAY too much about plumbing. This is not a review I ever expected to write because, frankly, nobody wants to need a plumber. Nobody wakes up thinking, “You know what would really improve my week? A full-house plumbing replacement.” 😂 But here we are. I had the entire plumbing system in my old house replaced, which was easily one of the most painful financial moments of my life. I briefly considered selling a kidney. Then I remembered kidneys are apparently not worth what plumbing costs. 😂 Enter MasterTex, Conner, and Austin. These guys were FANTASTIC. At one point, I had 20–25 people working on my house. TWENTY-FIVE. I have attended weddings with fewer people. And somehow, despite having what looked like an entire plumbing army occupying my home, everyone was professional, respectful, courteous, and incredibly considerate. They tackled a massive job with a great attitude and never made me feel like I was living in the middle of a construction war zone. They communicated, worked hard, cleaned up, and treated my home and belongings with respect throughout the entire process. Was I thrilled to pay for a brand-new plumbing system? No. Would I rather be on some European vacation or a cruise around the world? Duh! Was I thrilled with the people who installed it? Absolutely. In fact, I am almost offended by how pleasant they made the worst financial experience of my life. 😂 So if you’re sitting there thinking, “I really hope I never need a plumber…” Same. But when your house inevitably decides to financially ruin you through the plumbing, Call MasterTex. Because if you have to spend the money, you might as well have a company that sends an army of incredibly professional people into your house who actually know what they’re doing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Would absolutely recommend. Would absolutely use them again. Would absolutely prefer not to need them again. 😂 Thank you to the entire MasterTex crew. You guys were seriously awesome."
"Connor & team were so informative when they came to my house and checked my sewage lines to make sure everything was in order. He also checked around my house for possible foundation issues. This really helps being a single female! I appreciate this company!"
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Service! MaterTex Plumbing and Drain was absolutely wonderful! They came out for free just to make sure everything was okay and genuinely cared about helping—not just making money. They even gave me great advice and encouragement about going to school, which meant a lot to me. They were professional, knowledgeable, comfortable to be around, and even my cat loved them—and that’s rare! 😂🐱 I highly recommend MaterTex Plumbing and Drain!"
"Great experience! The appointment was scheduled quickly, and the plumbers was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They were able to assess and address the issue right away and had everything resolved within an hour. Throughout the visit, they kept me informed about what was being done and took the time to educate me on how to help prevent similar issues in the future. I really appreciated the communication and expertise. Highly recommend"
"I had a leaking water heater that needed replacing and called, thinking it would take days. They called back with a fair quote and came out the same day to install. Went above and beyond and did a great job. Highly recommend!"
Traditional tank water heaters last 8–12 years. Tankless units can last 20+ years with proper maintenance. If yours is past its warranty and acting up, replacement is usually the better value.
Tankless units save energy, provide endless hot water, and last longer — but cost more upfront. We can help you weigh the pros and cons for your home and usage.
Rumbling or popping usually means sediment has built up in the tank. A flush may resolve it, but severe build-up can mean it is time to replace the unit.
Tank replacements typically run $1,200–$2,500 installed. Tankless installations range from $2,500–$3,500+. We provide exact quotes after assessing your setup.
If your unit is under warranty and the fix is simple, repair is usually best. For units past their warranty with recurring issues, replacement is often the better long-term value — we will give you honest options with upfront pricing.
Same-day repair is available for most common failures. If replacement is needed, a standard tank swap is typically completed the same day; tankless installations may take a bit longer.
Flush the tank annually to clear sediment, test the pressure relief valve, keep the temperature at 120°F, and schedule a professional inspection every year for tankless units to maintain efficiency.
